Sing to the silence of everyday light,
play along to the ticking of a clock,
compose a song out of nothing but rain.

Why do we try to hear,
only the things normally heard?

Why do we not yell to the world,
new ways to begin the day?

Dance to the ringing of the quiet piece,
the one you put on repeat.
Hum the newest creation,
the music that is beating,
your heart is keeping.

What can you think of next,
when you're walking by the street?

Where is the fun,
if you're not singing along?

Listen,
here,
there,
anywhere,
don't skip a sound,
because the greatest challenge of all,
keeping up with it,
it's all around.
