Light and Dark

(My first poem in iambic pentameter. It was fun to make :])

If light and dark were to coincide with,
then gray would be the color nay,
the world would be of fog and gone astray,
for bored and dull will rule the night and day.

So let the light be bright and always cheer,
the faces of all who are dear to thee,
and smiles can and will be there,
with laugh and great joy be seen here and near.

And also let the dark be what it is,
even as if you shed a tear so then,
you know it is now that you are allowed,
to be sad or troubled my weeping dear.

Because you will so need one and both to,
feel the most of happiness at its most,
to be its host and for it you should boast.
