Music is...

Music is as strong as taste,
it can turn your mind upside down,
bring you to outer space,
be thrown at you like a dart,
stick to your heart.

It makes life a pleasure,
or it shares your pain,
it can grab your emotions for a minute,
make you feel as if you're in a bubble.

Life is perfect while the notes play on,
everything is calm just like the song,
you could close your eyes,
and it would feel as if everything is gone,
away until you reach the end.

Heart broken,
depressed,
thinking too much for your own good,
everything can be cured if you know the right melody.

It'll hold your pain out of reach,
it gives you a hug,
then grabs your hand,
and pulls you to the dance floor.

String the chords together,
it is a never ending party with a million different friends,
all with different voices,
and different styles skipping to the beat.

Music is a journey like a dream,
depending on where your mind will take you,
it'll be your transportation from here to there,
just for your own need,
music will be there.
