No Cloud Will Be In Sight(January 24, 2011)

No Cloud Will Be In Sight
January 24, 2011

Brushing the color off,
scraping the dull out of the wall,
dripping the light into a picture.

The darkened day when the lights go out,
the shadows fall among it all,
the clouds cover the moon,
and the stars above.

The shade under the tree,
the wind beating,
the grass waving.

The day and the night are losing light,
no fun for the glowing glittering might.

They retreat as seeing defeat,
but not ready to leave,
this unfair fight.

The sun comes out from above the clouds,
rays come threw the fluffy shield,
the birds begin to cheer the light,
soon no cloud will be in sight.

At night the clouds also leave,
uncover what has been gone,
the shinning stars so bright.

The day and night are set right,
as the lights dance in the sky.

The colors are clearer,
the wall has been uncovered,
the light dries in hope of staying forever.
